Sentosa Island Singapore

This was a trip to the unknown since the opinions we heard were so different, but for sure it was a trip to remember!

The easiest way to get there: We took the subway to Harbour Front and walked the promenade to the island; first unexpected attraction, a replica of the atoll from the “Water wold” movie! (I’m still in love with Kevin Costner’s boat and his sailing skills) The day was already glorious for two big fans!

You can do lots of things, taking more than a day, but we squeezed as much as we could in a day. Candyland was delicious and the Universal Studios film sets replicas made us feel part of our favorite movies for the day, the annoying downside was that was extremely crowded 😦

Take me to the Candy shop!

You can choose all kinds of food from all over the world, it’s there, and it’s great ! How can you relax better after a great lunch?

Our love for the ocean took us to the Aquarium which we can easily categorize as “do not miss!!!” as you’re there; so many creatures from the depth and not only.

The aqua park park was extremely interesting but the Sentosa Skyline Luge was an unique thrill for us.

Now try to imagine you are in our shoes, exhausted, with a huge smile of accomplishment on our faces, getting to this:

We knew there is a beach there, but we didn’t raised our expectations too high, we were hoping for a cold drink with the feets sunked in the hot ocean; we were so wrong, the southern most point in continental Asia is beautiful and extremely relaxing. It is not a natural habitat but I sure was fooled by it. There are so many things to say about it, but no words can describe it better than some pictures:
