Botanical Garden Singapore

Beautiful scenery and flowers: a great way to spend a few hours away from the city. We highly recommend it to those that wants some silence and also to those who love plants and long walks.

Nestled in the  Singaporean “jungle”, the Botanical Garden has been recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage, no wonder, cause this place is amazing. Walking through it, you tend to forget that you are in the heart of a 5 mil+ population city.

The colours, the scents, the feels, at any point you can close your eyes and imagine yourself in the rainforest, walk some more and you’ll teleport to the african savanna or the tropical jungle in Burma. When you think is over, you’ll find the Orchid Garden, and an amazed smile will install on your face; when they wrote about Nirvana or Elysium, this is what they had in mind!

Tip: Make sure to bring water and a hat. Though there are some shops you can buy water from you might find yourself far from all of them and super thirsty in the sunny “summer” days.

Love, Danu ♥
